Energy Systems Catapult has launched the Energy Resilience Accelerator to help ambitious energy SMEs develop and scale solutions that can strengthen energy resilience across the UK.
The programme brings together some of the country's largest infrastructure operators and service providers, including Centrica, NHS England, NESO, National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) and SSEN, to address some of the most pressing resilience challenges emerging across the energy sector and wider critical infrastructure landscape.
Through the Accelerator, successful applicants will be matched with these partners to explore practical, real-world solutions.
The programme will support SMEs with technologies
at TRL 6 or above.

He won the original Global Energy Forecasting Competition for electricity demand back in 2014, was a significant part of the Thames Valley Vision project that refined techniques for modelling energy consumption, has led InnovateUK projects for fusing energy data with public data sources, and a huge variety of analysis all sorts of data from different sectors including imagery data, time series, shopping transactions, customer profiles, etc.
